The 6th August is celebrated as Hiroshima Day. And on this day countless people were died in attack of bomb by America in world war ll.

The sixth of August is designated as Hiroshima Day each year. Today marks the detonation of the atomic bomb over the Japanese city of Hiroshima.

On August 9, 1945, America dropped the second Atom bomb on Nagasaki effectively ending the war when Japan announced their surrender.

Every August 6, "A-Bomb Day", the city of Hiroshima holds the Peace Memorial Ceremony to console the victims of the atomic bombs and to pray for the realization of lasting world peace.

The ceremony is held in front of the Memorial Cenotaph in the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.
